Recipe – Five Minute Fudge

© Sicha PongjivanichHello everyone! At this point we hope that you are starting to enjoy our blog. This is the day that we would like to share a recipe with you. Yes, we will be coming out with a recipe book later this year. One of the things that I personally love to do is cook and I’m always looking for a good recipe. I’ve been under foot in the kitchen since I was about 4 or 5 years old wanting to help…however I’m not going to tell you how many years that has been now. The hard part here is deciding which recipe to share.  If most of you are like me, you probably have a bit of a sweet tooth, so we will start out with a quick and easy recipe for fudge. It’s called “Five Minute Fudge.”

5 Minute Fudge

2/3 cup canned milk

1 2/3 cups granulated sugar

1½ cups miniature marshmallows

1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup chopped nuts, if desired


Measure the canned milk and sugar into a medium size sauce pan. Cook over medium heat. Make sure you have all of the ingredients measured out ahead of time. When the sugar mixture comes to a boil, begin stirring and stir constantly for 5 minutes. At about 4 minutes you can add the marshmallows while continuing to stir. At 5 minutes, remove from the heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir vigorously to blend, pour onto a butter platter or into a butter pan and spread quickly. Allow to cool. Do not try and make this on a rainy day, it will not set solid and/or will be sugary.
